Some time has passed now since I jotted the above observations as my lay man’s view saw it. Since then  we all have observed and have witnessed as thousands of innocent and not so innocent lives and lively hoods got decimated and the protagonists yet still going strong and with out accountability locally and internationally. The bull has no muscle and no weight yet to tie it down to the ground ,it might have had its horn cut off or bit, yet could heal and survive or  grow new ones to fight with. For it, since it could not possibly loose what it didn’t have; the continuance of the statuesque matters the least, but for the other side the statuesque is not only untenable it had become deadly and expensive in terms of material and human coast. What was then limited to terrestrial and to a national territory have sprung up in to the international waters and beyond the national territorial confinements that have kept naval forces of the five continents busy guarding and fighting to keep the transcontinental shipping lines going in ways and norms never been mobilized for any categorized hurricane to date. I would not comment as to who lost and who gained by the rush to bite the bull’s horn for  any one attuned to the daily news the answer is very much self evident that it needs no telling. When gorillas wage wars of the so called liberations, their accountability remains only to their gorilla organization, if they feed their gorilla army and arm it they pretty much had it, thus they remain agile and mobile, illusive and divisive, un repentant and  adamant, uncompromising and rigid but as soon as they come to power and start governing they realize the interest of the country is much larger than the interest they espoused when they were in the jungle . They develop new and unforeseen interests, they settle down, they accumulate some muscle on their bones and some chunk of change In their pockets, they form families that will tie them down, they loose their agility and mobility along with it goes illusiveness and divisiveness, their need grows and comes the realization that no body is willing to give them any thing for nothing they soon start learning the art of compromise and the art of give and take. Now one can bet they are going to need him and from him and bet he can tell them “if you don’t do this, or that” or “if you do this or that, Then…….   “ or in the language of them learned, one develops leverage on them. I have been pocked in the eye for referring to the policy vision last time I hope I will be spared of that this time around or if it happens again, it would only be a payment one has to endure for saying it out loud and unfortunate as it may, that is just the way it is.

     On a collision course with our past.

Some 60 years back most of the 3^rd world as it is referred was dripped with the wars of libration against colonialism and other perceived and real oppressions. Most or all of those liberation movements came to pass as guerilla wars that had thought the world of today and tomorrow some valuable lessons. I will not dare to attempt to draw attention to all the lessons learned and to be, but mention just two. The Economic burden of national governments fighting a guerilla war and the same burden guerillas face after they have won the war of liberation. It is one important question that ought to be asked and answered when the issue as to why many 3^rd world countries suffered the dictatorship of military juntas or guerillas that turned out quasi military dictators that won the so called wars of liberation. In any nation anywhere where there is a war to be fought, it takes no genius to figure that the building equipping and financing and supplying the military and the security forces takes precedent. For nations that luck the resources these humongous military and security machine simply could not be satisfied in sharing the meager resources that it takes the political power and try to have it all by establishing a military dictatorship. Or if the military does not assume the power and establish its dictatorship, the civilian government simply will collapse under the weight calling on the military and the security forces to assume control of the state power. It is important to be reminded that often the rallying cry of any or all liberation movements particularly against national governments are corruption, ineptitude and rights violation. Often the buildup of the military and security forces with governments that are already being accused does exasperate the situation than ease along the resource shortage for the rest of the national priorities. The shortage of the resources for other national public and private interests by itself becomes the major breeder of discontent and revolt which will manifest itself in the forms of corruption moral and social decadences . The guerillas will build their guerilla army to the point of tipping the balance to their advantage, they could do that till they come to power because they don’t have to pay salary while they are in the jungle, but things change as soon as they come to power and start to pay salary to the whole state machinery and in addition to the humongous guerilla army and security forces turned regulars. They have no option, but to wear the boots their predecessors have left and continue in a vicious cycle. This has been the lessons of building up of the security and military forces of a corrupt resource stripped country had thought the world in the past. Have we learned any from history or are we doomed to repeat it again?

If there is anything that comes in to being from nothing may be is nothingness itself

Adding an entry or two to ones diary every day is not and should not be a habit, an addiction or anything of the ill thought labels as some self professed wise men and ladies tend to make them, to me it is rather a discipline and an obligation to myself and those who will have the chance to learn from an individual’s insights and encounters during his short tenure on this earth as insignificantly significant as they are. It is nonetheless; of paramount importance that time place and condition allow the revelation exposition and documentation as in any worldly processes , prematurity in these processes could often cause premature death. It have been a struggle to avert haste, to keep privacy private and concentration in tact to be able to stick to strict discipline and be duty bound for the modern day cyber proving eyes, ears and hands are such that one hardly keeps once composure to do a task at hand and not be distraught and be running after remedial prescribed tactics and ways. It is often the time that is spent in either preventing someone unauthorized from proving in to our lives or our life’s works or private interests and flaws that had surpassed our engagement in real productive work and it is having an unprecedented effect in our productivity, social interaction and mutual trust to do anything with confidence. This deficit of confidence in securing our privacy when made clear that the other party can and is able to intrude anywhere and everywhere we went by the proving eyes, ears, and hands of the modern cyber-gadgets makes us drop everything and work on ways and methods of countering it and I am sure, I am not alone in thinking and acting that way. After all it is our common human trait to treat a threat and it is more than likely a trait the will endure the test of time as it had. As I am side tracked with these note I would like to make it clear that it is not without incident and cause I brought this up, but because it have been for a long time now one of the hurdles I had struggled to overcome and still fight to maintain my sanity and sense of purpose despite the enormous time and energy it had robbed me off and continues. As the Ethiopian saying ” Grind it anywhere bring the flour home” it is these without accounting what went in to and where in the process of what we consume have rather emboldened those who prey on others more than those who create ,produce and manufacture. We have come to a time when owners, makers and producer have to be ware for once it is on the market it is not who made it, manufactured it or produced it, but who delivered it. I am not by any chance minimizing the importance or the role played by delivery in anything of value, but I am only appalled by the sole endowment of the benefits to the one and singular party. That as it is and has thus far been, I would like to go back t o my normal and usual daily entry thinking that I have had a measure of protection and enforcing my provisions on what are my proprietary belongings.
It is often true that solutions are built on solutions and ideas are built on other ideas. If there is anything that comes in to being from nothing may be is nothingness itself despite some modern thought that prevails to the contrary. Only if nothingness is anything but what is beyond what our human imagination can visualize and conceptualize will I be contented to accept that counter thought.
It so happened that I was reading the research accounts of a scientist on Scientific American as I often do month by month as the magazine is made available to me that I jot down some questions I wanted to share and ask the scientist if he may, though that has often been an impossibility for it seems that they are only available to respond to equally prominent peers and not to common guys like myself and waste their time and energy explaining a complicated scientific thought and process such as this. It is so happens sometimes and may be with exceptional rarity answers could come from a much unsuspected corners and places at unsuspected times, that we ought say it as it appears and sounds to us lay men and enlightened alike even with its outward naivety. Such is the premise and objective of my note here and advise the reader of not to make anything of what it is not and it is not intended for and be entertained, offended or puzzled or even be led to once own counter revelations and let be. I will quote at length here from the magazine’s article out of respect for the authors proprietary rights and out of paying due credit to the author, despite repetitive derogated references to my hitherto notes, articles and essays of my payment of due credits to those whom deserved, I will this time, as then and ever do likewise. “These sweep patterns reveal something very interesting: ancient population movements heavily influenced the distributions of favored alleles across the globe, and natural selection has done little to fine tune those distributions to match modern environmental pressures. For example one of the most important players in the adaptation to lighter skin color is a variant of the so called SLC24A5gene.Because it is an adaptation to reduced sun light, one might expect its frequency in the population to increase with latitude and its distribution to be similar in people from North Asia and Northern Europe. Instead we see a West Eurasian sweep; The hitchhiking DNA that travels with it are common from Pakistan to France, but essentially absent in East Asia- even in the Northern latitudes. This distribution indicates that the beneficial variant arose in the ancestral population of West Eurasians—after they diverged from the ancestors of the East Asians Who carried it throughout the region .Thus natural selection drove the beneficial SL24A5 allele to high frequency early on, but ancient population history helped to determine which population today have it and do not.(other genes account for light skin in East Asia.)”How we are evolving, By Jonathan K. The fact that people living in similar latitudes have a gene of variant that is responsible for the better adaptation to their environment is testimony if nothing else to the infinite paths and methods to arriving to the same conclusion. As there are infinite natural numbers that will add up to the number five so are there infinite numbers of ways of getting a desirable or detrimental attribute. As every path encounters unique conditions in its path in unique time in space the variance in the lighteness of skin gene amongst the current day population of the northern global latitudes every bit an attribute to the different paths at different times traversed to get there. It is though somewhat perplexing to know that similar beneficial and parallel attributes could arise without the usual branching Darwinian fundamentals due to the parallel similarities and differences of environmental attributes that life had to traverse during its development and propagation and wonder what if it had any divergence from the conventional evolutionary theoretical foundations. As it is common to find aberrations in life and nature these could as well be an aberrant circumstance where two different genes account for the same attribute or is it the mathematical infinite natural numbers that could add up to five scenario often applies? I have no answers for I claim or is endowed as such ,but as any fool is endowed with the right to ask I ask if I get answers like all I would be happy if not I will not kill myself over it for in time it will reveal itself to some seeker investigator and engender its own round of questions, as no answer is the final answer but just a precursor to another one.
Speaking of mathematics, no sooner than I saw some light in a mathematical set theory did a penumbra of a sort I couldn’t get out of easily engulfed my hope of the flickering light I thought I found in the theory to answer or make an attempt may be dent the rational of the conundrum . Mathematical set theory asserts that in group of mathematical sets A, B,C,D, If all members of the sets of A,B and C are also members of a greater set D and members set A are different for members of set B and C ,but yet have common members, then sets A,B,C are subsets of set D. Having common members doesn’t render them subsets or prevent them either, yet all their individual members have to be drawn from the set D to be sub sets of the set D. In the tree of life it would be mathematically logical to expect in the hierarchy all genetic variants of a lower down species be present in a next or any higher ups. As having some members set A doesn’t constitute set A as a subset of D ,so will and should having common gens less or more constitute a 1 to 2 strict relationship, but simply a relationship not more than the overtly self evident relationship. As any metallic elements have in a periodic table or non metals would have it as well. As set theory have it for the set A to be a subset of D, all elements of A should be in set D and D should either be equal or greater than A in members of elements in it. Then I wanted to build a hierarchy of life using this strict mathematical construction and found out that still nature and the nature of life is much too clever to be confined in a set of rules as easily understood and described that speciation does not happen only on genetic content increments but on genetic content decrements as well, Which was evidenced by the greater genetic content of amoeba to that of a human being. So this tree of life some how built on having common traits and common genetic contents alone fails to glue its branches to the main stem however hard a glue applied . Life in general, from its minutest form to the most complex have communality of essence and content and as physical and other attributes resemble the more the the contents we have in common, be it genetic or otherwise, is as self evident as day and night that no need for a person of extra ordinary genius to explain, but to glue the branches and form one giant tree have been a one gargantuan challenge and remains despite the many equally gargantuan efforts and strides made with giants of the centuries thinkers and scientists to date. Life responds to challenges in infinite ways as evidenced by the whiteness genes that resolved the same need to be white by evolving two separate genes,for the same need but possibly under different conditions or similar though very unlikely, but with a statistical probability of greater than zero; like wise what is there to tell us with certainty that the same whiteness genes did not evolve for the same reason and cause by the different groups that had it, Considering the infinite variables that nature underwent and undergoes in its tenure, is it probable that outcomes are not often hard evidences and indicators of the processes?
