Life!!Single verse diverse origin:--12/21/2008It has been a while since I have put some word on paper and my thoughts known that I almost feel somewhat rusty. It was not for luck of words or thoughts on some of the most important events taking place on our "beautiful & ugly" Globe , but like most places on this planet here to thinking have become it seems a privilege of some privileged as though the skulls of the rest of us are filled with water and are inept. And when some of us say anything instead of being criticized or corrected we are rather ridiculed, ostracized and on the extreme cases harassed, coerced and when times and if conditions allow tortured. May be when the price of freedom is too heavy to bear it is not worth it to say and die knowing that tomorrow could bring a better day and by any chance if you happen to be on the right side, your truth shall then shine. Having said that I am sure you are going to say that is one angry fellow. Yes indeed I am one very angry fellow and there are many of us these days I am sure if not for the same reason, but for different reasons. While some of us are knowledgeable of our reasons the rest of us are not even sure why and at whom but we are. We are one angry world, our anger is everywhere and it shows. Count me among those who are angry for many countless reasons and chose to take a break and breathe till tomorrow than perish under the weight. May be the weight is lighter today or may be it had reached a breaking point that the tomorrow I longed for seems never to come. Thus once again I have chosen to say something and bear the consequences. When you are a schizophrenic you know things and particularly you hear things that most are not attuned to as I had said once schizophrenics' hearing rage frequencies ranges are extended from the "normal audible audio frequency "for a non schizophrenic so I had these vibes and hear things that leads me to believe it is time to let it off my chest and let the chips fall wherever they nay. I have as well been ridiculed and even made a jock of the late night jokers and joke hackers as though I am some kind if a public figure whose livelihood depended on his/her public persona though I had no public roll by way of being elected or appointed neither sought nor intend to for my grammatical and spelling errors and for my ineptitude of mastery of the English language. For some one born and raised in a none native speaker society, I am confident I can make my points cross and my voice heard and understood if you just bear with me a little and I beg for your forbearance. I am the product of diversity and that is what diversity engenders. Forbearance, tolerance, competition, cooperation, losing, and wining are the drivers of progress and the fruits of diversity. None are possible in the absence of diversity and diversity presupposes their existence and presence. If there is anything that has divided the world in two theoretical and philosophical camps, the emergence of Charles Darwin's evolutionary theory of life stands out tall and bright. The battle between the schools of thought of single origin and diverse origin still rages as the biblical world view and scientific world view points and a recent addition of Bran theory may serve as a 3rd front. The issue of single origin and diverse origin is an ongoing issue and one debated with an interesting slant among cosmologists and physicists as bran theory and string theory and the contrasts are astounding. May be the vindication of one will as well add enormously to the vindication of one of the long standing world outlooks without fully undermining any of them. As I said once before we lay men often get mixed up with things and cross bread what is otherwise a taboo among professionals and beg your excuses for any cross boundary infringements here. As our mind is often tranquil and dormant in solitude unless it is stirred, initiated, agitated, owed, fascinated or disturbed by some piece of information, a piece in honor of Charles Darwin's anniversary on the scientific American stirred and caused me to jot some pints and write this piece. It is in the writing and it is in the theory that life had a single origin and diversity and progress are forced on it by the; or in simpler terms diversity of life is a result of environmental diversity. To put it in the most rudimentary and highly simplistic ways, As suggested in the bran theory of the origin of the Universe, the Universe began out of the collusion of rather two dimensional bran than a single point and as such the ripples and flats, the picks and dips were rather there at the at the emergence of the new four dimensional Universe out of the wrapped up higher dimensions. This in effect is saying to us uniformity was not in the universe from its very beginning and that it is not something that is not a behavior that emerged out of a process latter in its life, but it is its life and in its essence, that is something that brought it in to life and that it is that will take its life out if it may. Without these variances and uneven distribution of everything and anything material the universe and as a consequence our beloved earth would have been devoid of life and tranquil instead of the vibrant dynamic we have come to know it. Thus Global environmental diversity predates life's Global diversity as there are Global uniformity that is conducive to life's continuity now and were instrumental in life's initiation then. One fact that is self evident and beyond question at least for now is, the existence of the Global uniformity that is instrumental in initiating life and basic constituents of life which are same everywhere on Earth. It is asserted in the theory that the trajectory life to took the form a tree branch because of the environmental variations it encountered along the path of development, but why not be a grass instead of a tree and follow its independent path there off if the cause for it branching off is present from the outset ? And even predates it? 1single origin 1single destiny 1diverse origin 1 diverse destiny It is a fundamental assertion of Darwinism's theory that environmental diversity gave rise to life's diverse forms and manifestations the question though is what prevented life from being diversely evolving in the presence diverse environmental conditions prior to its inception or initiation? Instead of life being mended , bent straightened up to fit the environmental conditions why is it considered that life is there by the demand of the environment to change it and mend it (i.e. it is there for a purpose and a mission to reshape and reform the environment and it had as such done everything there is to do to effect change on the environment everywhere and every bit it had evolved and it have been all over the Glob and by in large as the Globe made it, it also made the Glob) Though the uniformity and unique dynamic global environment was instrumental in initiating life on earth the none uniform dynamic environmental spread as well has been asserted as the engine of latter day branching of life in to its present day forms. It is the dormancy of this engine which has been there from the very beginning of the earth and advent of life till sometime late and latter to manifest its life shaping role seems to me yet a half baked rational that needed some heat to have it well-done. The absence of the glue that joins the main stem of the tree to the branch in the form transitional species as much as it supports the traditional theory as there can be no half species between its progenitor and the offspring but an either or, for dialectical development suggests a revolutionary jump in the course of evolutionary development . During the evolutionary build up of what is to push whatever species over to the next evolutionary species there can be no surprise if it remained itself and when it jumps it jumps to be the new the jump has rendered or produced, there for intermediary species are not to expected. Those who would like to see a transitional species in the Darwinian evolutionary theory may be expecting evolution and no revolutionary jumps in evolution. On the other hand the absence of transitional species might as well support the diverse beginning diverse development and diverse destiny of life on earth as species. At least to date the absence of any life form in the observed Universe if not assure us it at least tales a story of uniqueness in the universal vastness, a uniqueness which is the fundamental of diversity and independence of progress within the integrated wholeness. This I called the self within the social self, or the individual element of the aggregate. That seems the standing of the Earth in the Universal integrated complex framework. As the complexity and simplicity, uniformity and singularity gets reduced from the universe to the cosmos, the solar system and our Glob and beyond the mimicking continues without end. Would life be mimicking any different law or any different reality? More than likely it won't. Being fundamentally does everything to keep the statuesque , when it changes that state of change is almost always forced on it , thus as stated in the evolutionary theory 99.9% is disfavor able and wouldn't it be prudent to question as to why a 99.9% disfavor able act would be the major force in life's progress? Never mind the very few observed genetic mutations have yet to prove trans species transformation, but within species refinements to help keep the statuesque, a response, a counter measure and a barricade to the influences of elements of the environment for change . This I think is what is proved in our hitherto existing lab experiments despite the claim contrary to this scientific data. Life from the very outset I am afraid was not ready to change but change its environment in all its existence and in all its forms which had caused it to refine , return and readjust itself to self preserve as a species and these processes have helped it progress and advance. It had built shelters, it had formed it had traveled distances, it had developed body parts and organs not may be to transform but to survive as in its species as is observed by so many drug resistant bacteria and viral life forms than transform virus to bacteria or something else. The present day outcry of the environmental movement then is a meaningless ado about nothing if we were not the life forms that were instrumental in bringing it about among all others who are complicit in the effort. If it were true then what is there to be afraid of? if the worst comes as it had always been we will be once more transformed in to a new and higher species and that transformation is what had gotten us here will as well take us to the next level, as it is suggested with 99.9% of us decimated and the super, super, super minority enjoying the benefits of transformation in a logical act that defies all known laws of nature and human rational.Ayele Teklemariam+
